This tool was designed to eliminate the problem of field points coming off wood shaft arrows during normal shooting and 3D target shooting. During the development and testing phase of this tool, we found that once the field point is glued on and crimped, it is next to impossible to remove it from the wood shaft. It can be done with pliers and muscle, but the shaft and point are unusable after removal with such force.

This hand held traditional crimper is made in a machine shop from solid hex polished aluminum. A tunnel is reamed out end-to-end. The crimper has three evenly spaced threaded hex set screws that provide for the evenly spaced dimples on your field point in one operation. After practicing with the crimper, one can finish an arrow in one to one-and-a-half minutes. An Allen wrench is used to tighten the set screws as the last step. There is a viewing window (hole) in the crimper which is used to line up the field point so that it receives the dimples in the proper position.

Your machine is shipped with three cone-head set screws which fit in the threaded holes and one set of instructions on "how to do it." The Arrow Crimper order comes with easy five-step instructions and will do all sizes of arrows, 5/16 / 11/32 / 23/64.

Testing has shown this crimper to be very durable. It should last for years, if not for a lifetime.
